this thing they call patience really works....

3-2-1 clear! Zap! Ok, now I've revived the old thread... jonboymentalhealth, how long was the drink in the keg under pressure? Unfortunately I only have until Saturday when the drink is to be served. Does anyone else know a good amount of time to get a good amount of fizz into a drink? Not so...

Attaching CO2 regulator to CO2 bottle.

I think that is my answer, just wanted to be careful, thanks. It's the one where it attaches to the bottle, not the adjust screw fixing bolt thanks though. :D

Attaching CO2 regulator to CO2 bottle.

Hey, it's me again, with about as much of a clue as last time. I've tried to connect the reg to the bottle, which seems fine, but it leaks around the bolt when the gas in switched on. I have a red plastic-like washer in the reg, all parts supplied by Norm of course. Does the bolt need doing up...

Haha. I had no idea that it was a student flat! That's a real missed opportunity there, I have to walk a whole two hundred metres or something as it is :( Man I love that shop. :D Best wishes to your son, A levels were murder!

    THE HOP SHOP, PLYMOUTH

There's this big smelly ginger guy in the Kelland's fruit and veg shop on Mill Street, could get some apples off of him... :D Don't know how long you've been gone but there's a Tesco in East-the-Water now, and one in place of good ole Brian Fords :( Oh and they've complete overhauled the...

    THE HOP SHOP, PLYMOUTH

 I grew up in Northam! Also, I live a few hundred metres from the Plymouth Hop Shop atm. I've bought most of my equipment from there. The prices are great and I love going in there, the main owner man is awesome, really easy to talk to and remembers the brews that I'm doing. I think...

    BOC Liquid or Vapour

Well, I would assume that CO2 is CO2, because if it wasn't, it wouldn't be CO2. I've heard that some people using welding gas for home brew too. I'm no expert though and I wouldn't bet your life on my guesswork and hearsay :P

    Magnum Cider Kits

I know that this is an old thread, but for anyone who searches and finds it... I did finish that Magnum Strawberry cider and it was very drinkable. Not very strawberry but it was fine and even some non-cider-drinkers were won around by it! I think my first kit must have just gotten infected or...

    CO2 regulator help!

This came with it: I think it's just a splitter for gas. Haven't worked out how to get the piece of pipe out yet.

    CO2 regulator help!

Hey. I just received this regulator from Norm (highly recommended, check him out on the links page!) and I have a couple of questions (I'm not going to bug Norm, I bug him enough :P). What is this? and Where can I get something or other to attach here and connect it to my gas tube? Also...

    Cheeky Vimto

Well I'm back after ages... I made the Vimto cider roughly to the spec that I posted on the previous page. I think I probably ended up adding one kilogram of sugar in the end, oh and I also ended up with 6.5L of Vimto. I was away during the time that I planned to stop it from fermenting, so it...
