    Anyone know where to get W - 34/70 lager yeast or a recommended substitute. I'm using S - 23 at the moment but want to try something a bit drier (is it true S -23 produces a more fruity lager)? :?

    Beer Kits - DME for Sugar

    Hi I have a new Coopers beer kit and was after any thoughts on replacing the 1kg of sugar/dextrose with 1 kg of Muntons Spraymalt (DME Light). Any views on what would be the outcome (I'm hoping for a better quality beer). Cheers :D

    Hi Does anyone know where to get Maltodextrin? There is a sports nutrient web site which sells it for £2.99 per kilo (and dextrose for £2.99 a kilo which is rather expensive considering your loacl HBS will sell Dextrose for £1.40 ish per kilo). I want to keep my lagers/pils dry and hope...
