    Lots more useful info. I always take great care when transferring brew so it shouldn't be oxidised. I now am sure it is the vwp and that i was not using it correctly.

    Excellent stuff, thank you all. I have used baby sterilising solution before, which i assumed to be thin bleach. I'll give that a go again. :thumb: :cheers:

    Excellent, as I suspected...cheers gents. I rinse three times everytime. New steriliser ahoy! I'll give the brew a little longer and see if it changes as I am loath to throw it away!!
