Back to homebrew and still the same problem!!!

Lots more useful info. I always take great care when transferring brew so it shouldn't be oxidised. I now am sure it is the vwp and that i was not using it correctly.

Did the beer taste of a sticky plaster though?

That's the give away that would almost prove it was the VWP.
There is a possibility of an infection but most cases turn out to be the bleach...
