    Woodfords Wherry stick.

    Hi all ,.. For some reason whenever I brew a woodfords Wherry the ferment sticks at 1.020 . Now all my other kits brew all the way but I've had at least 6 wherrys do this. Does anybody else have this problem? ?

    Blackberry wine question

    I've just in the process of making bb wine and just taken a S.G Reading and it's off the scale..1200+.My question is do I need to water this down to a more acceptable level and if so what level. Recipe is 3lbs bbs 3lbs sugar. Tia

    Straining bag

    I'm going to be making some blackberry wine shortly and most recipies require a straining bag.Searching through Amazon there's fine mesh and coarse mesh. Which would be best for blackberries ? ...TIA

    Wilko sale

    This is probably old news but some of kits at wilko s have been reduced....wherry at £16. Mex cerv at £8.Coopers stout £10. Just spent £80 with all the sugars and malts and caps and just worked out it costing 36p a pint......Happy days......

    Last night (20/2/13) i started a wilko's golden ale and within 3 hours it started bubbling ,but overnight it stopped.The temp in the kitchen might have got as low as 15c ,could this have halted fermentation ?.At the mo i've got the fv next to the radiator hoping to start it off again.     A quick question on a WOW..

    I've just racked my first WOW and the reading was 0992. and after the test and a little spillage the new demijohn is only full to the shoulder , now the question is can i leave it with a large air space or should i fill it up with water or a water and sugar solution..?.i've put a campden tablet...
