    Hi all i have seen a boiler ring on ebay that is a whopping 8.8kw by my calculation to change 60 litres of water by 60 degrees this should be done in 30 minutes however i am worried that this will melt or distort a standard ss stock pot, has anybody used these or had problems with melting pots???

    bottled ale how long before its ready

    Hi all its me again, just bottled some of my buzzbee came out at 6.5% (need to thin it down a little next time) just wondering how long it will take to get some fizz in it iv put it in garage at the mo which is at around 10 c temp just in case bottles explode :shock:

    am i right in thinking that depending on the bitterness of the ale intended (i.e. The expected bitterness, 34.6 IBU) this is the reason behind using all different types of hops to get to the value IBU required ?

    disolving yeast or not
