    so who gets gout..

    i have suffered very mildly with gout for around a year, :( its restricted to the big toes , a numb pain with flare ups every now and then..... i can tell you its not reccomended ... :nono: one of the triggers for gout can be yeast, and real ale come high on the list of things to avoid...

    drinking from a king keg...

    i am coming to the end of a king keg of AG beer... :( i defiantly can taste the difference in the beer after 4 months in the keg, it is well flavoured and clear as expected... :party: .but im sure its much stronger is this the case or is it my imagination :wha:

    is my berry wine fermenting...

    i have an fv with around 4 gallons of black berries,elder and liquid i pitched the yeast starter 2 days ago and popped it in the fermenting cabinet, because all of the 4 billion berries are floating on the top iv'e no idea if its bubbling and i cant see anything.. :? i did give it a good...

    king keg top tap to bottom tap conversion..

    has any one fitted a bottom tap,onto a king keg ,that was a top tap. ive have a bit of grief with my top tap keg and was going to try a bottom tap... :nah: but then i thought .. :hmm:

    hop schedule

    i have made 4 all grain beers.... :party: and more or less, i have split one type of hop into 2 additions 50g at the start of the boil and 50g with 20 mins to go.....im happy with the beers i did also add a hop tea to an ipa after fermenting.. :tongue: i wondering what your thoughts/and...

    i have some doombar yeast...

    i was at a party this weekend where we drank a cask of doombar , :cheers: i managed to draw of the dregs from the cask, :party: and over night it settled to leave around 3/4 of a pint of slurry, i have refridgerated this and would like to know what i can do with it,,, :!: many thanx... :thumb:

    half a keg of beer

    im bottling a 5 gallon batch today and was considering bottling a couple of gallons then putting the rest into a k/k .. im assuming i will have to add co2 then expel the air ..?

    adding sugar to an ag brew..

    in the GW book they add sugar to the recipie .. :wha: does anyone do this ..? is it added during the boil ..? i assume it saves on the amount of grain needed ,are there any other advantages..

    orderin from Rob..

    i going to order a 25 kg sack of grain from rob which is best for general beer making, ipa's golden beers ...... marris,pale, other i have some crystal, im looking to make up the order weight to 30kg ,,,so should i get 5kg of other malts, is the £7.99 postage on the web site still correct ..?
