hi guys, today i brought a 50w fish tank heater. looking on the box it says temp range is between 16 and 34 deg, take it out of the box it says 20 to 34 deg. does anyone thing this will be an issue? also what size storage contain should i get and will any type do, i don't want it melting on me!

how do you clear your beer before bottling? leave it in PFV for an extended period of time? only asking because i find this intresting.

lol i have only ever made 11 bottles of wine, my first batch everyone had a little bit of sediment in it! this time only one has all the sediment in it lol don't worry i have drunk it now lol hickup

As some of you may know I have sediment in a bottle I want to crack open tonight! Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can stop sediment from making its way into my glass? Cheers! If I come up with any ideas I will post!

I think my problem is, that my DJ only just squeezes out 6 bottles and when filling the last, bottle my racking cane with sentiment trap kicked up all the sediment and sucked it all up. :doh: So I guess I just need a way of stopping this from happening, if it means leaving the wine in a DJ...

Going by similar posts! All seems to be going fine, I would still leave it in there for 14 days mind, as it is supposedly helps the clearing process. It's what I have read on here, however I am as green to this as you are so have not yet tried this out, my first brew went wrong after putting it...

Coopers bitter is like £15-20 for 40 pints. I also think that, that bag would need to be drank in a weekend just like the mini kegs you can buy at the supermarket, it's got student party written all over it, designed by my hometown students from Nottingham Trent uni. We know how to party up...

Do you, do your third rack off post-fining and then go straight into bottles or do you let it rest before you bottle?

Does any of it make sense to you? And more importantly should I stay within the recommended amount of sugar that each kit suggests, regardless of bottling/barreling? Cheers! For bumping :thumb:
