    North Korea

I wouldn't put it past China & Russia to aid the South Koreans in an evasion of the north. They want SK technology an another "you owe me" trading partner would be welcomed by both. NK is a dead duck.

I dont mean to show off but, Big Shiny Things

Nice looking kit there and I wish you all the best with your venture. Critch has got it right, kegs kegs and more kegs, you can't have too many. I've had to dump a brew once and it was gutting believe me. We now have a barcode system for our kegs and SWMBO has employed her brother to collect...

    North Korea

Made me smile when North Korea posted pictures of their troop movements and they were found to have been "Photoshopped"

    electronic cigarettes

Exactly Eskimobob, but several governments and Big Pharma are very non committal when they have been challenged about it. No smoke without fire etc. :?

    electronic cigarettes

I've been vaping for 4 years. Getting off the fags was the best thing I ever did. They can't ban it as there's too many people doing it. The British Meps are fighting Borgs proposals as omitted facts in his original statements. Several professors have stated that NRT is designed to fail. Get...

    T90 Hops in FV

All my commercial dry hopped beers are done with pellets. They're much easier to clear up than cones :thumb:

    Ease Back!!!!

It's great when they're behaving, when they're not it's bad times x 3! Might be able to take a few piccies but as you can probably tell I'm up to my neck in it at the moment, 3 15 month olds, 1 emo 13 year old, and 1 stoner rock 17 year old. A wife who is having trouble coping (more with her...

    Ease Back!!!!

Yes it's true, there are rumours of internet in Spain, but I would estimate that the fastest that we get would be only just be slightly faster than UK dialup. As for a Tripel? Not really a fan of those types of beers. Always reminds me of Christmas Pudding in a glass. First is going to be a...

    Ease Back!!!!

Sorry about the long absence from this forum. Wifey decided that a move to Spain would be good for us. Moved the brewery and then bang! Triplets. Only really brewed commercially since but am now getting the bug for Homebrew AG again. Time to dust off the equipment and get brewing

Yeast - Chris White with Jamil Zainasheff

Tis indeed a great read, although I was already using slants. I tend to re harvest yearly, as I've found that's when the flavour characteristics change.

    Homebrews and Hangovers

I only get hangovers from homebrew when I've added extra sugar to the boil or I've drunk way too much

I always use stout around the veg in the growing season. The little fekkers love it :thumb:

    Mr Malty's slurry

Well we'll just have to agree to disagree, I use the freshest White Labs as I have 3 Brothers and 1 Sister who live over the pond who post it to me when required, and to be honest even the slurry peforms better than most of the stuff you can buy here. I use maybe 5% more slurry than in a vial...

    Mr Malty's slurry

I am talking about slurry. I think Mr Maltys viability from 94% to 44% is a tad extreme.
