Has anyone used one of the 'Bag in a Box' methods of storing wine? As someone who is returning to home winemaking after many years the 'hobby' has moved forward in leaps and bounds. Bottling is a good idea but I am drawn to the bag method. How long would the wine keep in a bag? The commercial wines in bags are reputed to only last four weeks, this doesn't seem very long. Any help would be appreciated.

I have used the bag in a box method. I had 2 x 5lt ones and they were fine. The wine stayed fine, but as it got drunk in under 4 weeks I don't know about longer term. A few months should be okay but I suspect longer than that is pushing it. Also the box gets a bit soggy in the fridge.
