I am just about to bottle some beer and have a few Henry Weston cider bottles. Are they strong enough to hold a ale or possibly a lager?

I am not a cider drinker so don't know how fizzy the cider is.

They have only had the cider that that they came with in them so I don't know if I fill them with beer wither I will create bottle bombs :nono:

All I can tell you is I've used some Westons Vintage cider bottles over about 6 batches and haven't had a problem yet.
I don't tend to prime more than about 3 volumes though.
They seem on the heavier side to me so I feel fairly confident using them - certainly not as thin as Franziskaner bottles which I also use without a problem - but with a fair bit less confidence!
