I have started brewing 25L of turbo cider and as I do not have any room in the house I put it on a Wilko heat pad in my shed with a blanket around it.

It's day three today so I went down to top it up with apple juice and put an airlock on it. Airlock popping every 8-10 secs.

At the same time I checked the temp and was surprised to see it was 30 deg.

Should turn off the pad and let the temp drop down?

Thanks

Depends on your yeast. 30 is probably too high. I ferment at ~22 for cider.

I think the yeast can produce off flavours if temp too high but one of the more qualified on here will confirm.
