hi guys and gals ...
just a after thought realy ...
will i need to add some Pectolase to this brew ....
if so i need to get/order some ...

regards mick... :hat: .

I've never needed it for TurboCider, but real apples might like a bit. If you have some it can't hurt and may speed clearing. Not worth buying just for this though. If you're maybe doing some fruit-based wines later you'll want some then so you could get it now and chuck some in if you like.

ok thank you oldbloke... :thumb: .
theres no real apples in there its only called apple cider on the tin ...

i will not get any then...
as i will not be doing wine ...

how about ...
wilkos beer finings...
as i do have a Sachet of that going begging ...

or would you say just leave it alone ...

regards mick... :hat: .

With cider you really want to leave it in secondary for a good month, to make the most of it, during this month all the solids will fall out on their own so no need to use the finings :)

I've never used pectolase with a cider kit, so never really had any need for it. I always use it on my turbo ciders though, just to be sure :D

why i didnt think of there before i dont no ... .

Constant 21 degrees might be a bit toasty for fermenting in. Generally your fermentation will run 2-3 degrees higher than the surrounding temp. Our house is a fairly stable 18 degrees and I normally see 21-22 degree fermentation temps.

I'm sure it'll be fine. If it's sitting at 21 degrees in the cupboard then that's ideal. The main fermentation is probably finished hence why it's holding a better temp, I wouldn't worry anyway :)

ok guys and gals...

It's not cruicial but I would definitely check before you put the secondarys somewhere cool, as you want to check the gravity as close to 20 degrees as you can really. That way you will know for a fact that everything is finished and nothing has stalled :)
