I made one about 8 years ago and from what i can remember it came out ok. But i wouln't buy one again having tried other kits. The solomon grundy kit is a bargain compared to others like the beverdale and selection kits, but you get what you pay for.

The only advantage i found was the speedy turn around time, although a wine gets better with time, so a 3 weeks in demi is nothing!
 
soloman grundy are ok but you need to add a lot of sugar your better off buying a kit using pure grape concentrate such as cantini
