I have just recently returned to the joys of homebrewing, :cheers:
along with a couple of fellow newbies in northants, im trying out a few brews from kits and this forum,
any fellow northamptonshire brewers out there... :party:

ive got a 5 gallon firey ginger beer going potty in the airing cupboard,
1 gallon of turbo cider made with cawstons pressed apple juice,bubbling nicely
3 gallons of red [carafe 21 kit] wine maturing
2 wurzels fermented and clearing,
2 turbo ciders clearing......
3 gallons of brewbuddy cider maturing ..

lookin forward to a hazey summer.. :drunk: :drunk:

not bad for around 2 months production

i think i might be hooked.... :rofl:
 
Hi I am from Northampton too, been looking on your forum for a while but never posted as yet. I am also new to this brewing lark, at the moment I have these on the go.
1. Tom caxtons ale in bottles conditioning
2. A wurzels orange brewing 1 gal.
3. Grape and pomegranete Brewing 1 gal.
4. Blueberry, apple, cranberry and grape brewing 3 gal.
5. Coopers Australian lager waiting to bottle 5 gal.
6. Zinvandal rose wine kit bottled and brunk.

im still waiting to try my turbo ciders and wurzels as they are clearing...i may have to add finnings.... :hmm:

but they smell greeeeeat.... :party:

Yes mate im in Corby, but dont worry im not a local, im originaly from West Bromwich. But i did spend a couple of years living in Kingsthorpe (which is worse Kingsthorpe or Corby :hmm: )

yep know kingsthorpe well,like corby it has its good and bad bits,
i used to work in corby for a short while,
where do ya get your hb supplies, :wha:

we had a shop in npton a few years ago,[welly rd]
and we have just started using one in bedford
theres wilkos in the weston favell centre,but their shelves are rarely full.... :roll:
 
No mate im not Scottish but the wife is.
I usualy get my supplys from Matchless home brew. its located in Coalvile and run by two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Infact they are one of our forum sponsors. But there is a little health food shop in Rusden which sell HB stuff.

heres a pic of my supermarket 1st juice brews

they are now clearing,
from the left,
a wurzels with red grape juice,
a wurzels with 2 litres of orange,1 grape
a turbo cider with cloudy juice,
a turbo with apple and raspberry

were in our early days yet, :drunk:
but im sure we will have another in the summer, :cheers:
