firstly chopped ginger an lemons

then into the pan with all the ingredients as specified by rick the brew!

then simmered for 30 mins

then into the fv with all ingredient including 2.5 kgs of sugar, mixed and topped up with cold water and one crushed campden tablet!

the o.g. was 1.040 then last but not least dry pitched the yeast!!!!!! :thumb:

well< just racked mine after eleven days fermenting the start was 1040 and the fg was 996 (fecking dry) = about 5.9 i think wow loved the fire real winter warmer this one it took 2 teaspoons of canderel to sweeten a tumbler glass full to get to my desired taste! feckin loverly!!! :party: :party:
