I have got an ale fermenting away nicely. It will be fermenting for 2 weeks.
What I usually do is transfer to a corny then drop the temp to 2c and then stick in some gelatine to help clear the beer. Doing this uses 2-3 pints worth which annoys me
Instead of transferring to the corny could I (after the 2 weeks fermenting at 19c) drop the temp to 2c over a day or 2 then stick some gelatine in and leave for another 5 days THEN rack from the FV to the corny?
Cheers
