Hello all, first post so go easy lol.

I have quite a large fridge im my shed, its big enough to hold two 23 ltr (chinese knockoff) corny kegs.

I will be mounting a tap on the outside to serve my beer.

The thing is:

I was thinking of hooking up a stc-1000 temp controller to it so i can control the temp more accuratley. I also plan on incorporating a small heating tube.

The fridge itself will only ever be used for kegging OR fermenting/lagering...

Never both at the same time.

Am i right in thinking once i have fermented my beer at the right temps for the appropriate time i can just pull the carboy out, dial the stc-1000 to keg temp and throw the kegs in there?

My aim is to switch the use of the fridge for this purpose. I also dont have the space for two separate fridges in my shed lol.

P.s. The temp probe will be in a thermowell in my carboy, so it will easily whipped out when changing the use of the fridge.

Thanks for any insight!
