I knocked one of these up in sept, it's been bottled 2-3 weeks and I'm impressed.
John Bull traditional English ale kit
800gm brewing sugar
1.5ltr pure Apple juice (had it over from a cider brew)
250gm of brew enhancer
250gm of honey (had it over from a honey bitter brew)
Filled to 23ltr
First reading of 1065
Fermented out to 1000
Bottled with 2 carbonation drops per 500ml pet bottle.
Then left in one of my stash cupboards
I tried one or two last night, bloody nice brew, great head, lovely taste, honey after taste. And not too strong tasting.
