Hi there,
I'm new to brewing and have only complete a couple of decent beers. The last ginger beer I made with champagne yeast was great and I fancied making another. While I was in the shop I noticed a pack of Alcotec 48 and thought that sounded fun!
I made the ginger beer as I did last time (simmering ginger, lemons and sugar then adding them with water in my brewing bucket with the yeast).
However I have heard I need to add charcoal and some clearing stuff to the alcotec or it'll taste rank and give me a nice hangover?
Advice would be great; it's fizzing like made at the moment!
