Regular.
So the kids had some of them apple and banana slurpers (basically pureed fruit) things bought for them but didn't like them....so the old cogs in the brain go to a tickin!!
Not one for waste, I thought I'd try a little experiment :hmm:
In a 2L PET Carton (just discovered the rubber bungs fit perfectly - milk or juice carton will do) it goes a little like this:
4 x 90g Apple & Banana Slurpers - total 38g sugar
1L WGJ - 156g sugar
250g sugar dissolved in some warm water
1tsp Pectolase
1 tsp glycerine
Yeast starter made with 1tsp wine yeast, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp citric acid & 1 tsp tomato puree (ran out of yeast nutrient)
Made the starter, bunged all the other stuff in carton, good shake to mix it up, pitched yeast starter and off we go with an SG of 1.095
That was just over 4 hours ago and it's now bubbling away nicely in the back porch :)
It might be absolutely  when done, but then again....it might be rather tasty  ....time will tell (and I will tell you when I find out lol!) And I've just this second whilst typing this, realised I completely forgot tea for tannin, oh well, fingers crossed it'll be ok :
