Decided on a Big Kenny for AG#3, really like the look of it.

Adjusted to 19l brew length and a bit more pale malt added.

4000g Maris Otter
212g Wheat Malt
66g Crystal Malt
44g Roasted Barley
22g Chocolate Malt

36g Challenger (7.6%) - 90 mins
19g Fuggles - (4.3%) - 15 mins
19g Bobek - (3.8%) - Steep 30 minutes

AA of hops different, but didn't change quantities, so should be a higher IBU of 41.2 than the original recipe.

44g Malted barley? Do you mean Roast?

Otherwise looks good to me. My Big Kenny was formulated at 39 IBU for an OG of 1050 but came out at 1045 and tasted fine, so I think you'll have no problems with the slightly raised IBU.

It is a nice pint, best of luck :thumb:

Yes sorry, roasted barley (now edited)! :thumb:

Not the best brewday it has to be said!

Only managed to collect 15l before the hydrometer was reading 1008, so not a great start. Broke my thermometer, so there was a lot of guess work after that pitching yeast etc (seems to be fermenting well this morning though)!
Amazingly my hydrometer is still in one piece after dropping that twice!
The OG was only 1043 (target 1048) when it went into the FV.

:(

Never mind. hopefully it will turn out ok!
