Day 6 and ive just removed the Krausen collar. Im hoping that its all gone ok, good collar of gunk, smelling like a beer and not a lot of foam on top. What should the next step be? Planning on taking a reading tomorrow and then aiming to bottle maybe next weekend consistent reading permitting. Assuming the fermentation is done? Is temperature control as important now? Read its good practice to let it sit cooler for a while before bottling? Its a coopers wheat beer by the way.

Thanks again in advance.

I took the collar out on day 4-5 I think. Been in 10 days now at a constant 18ish degrees, checked gravity today and it's about where it needs to be. Going to check again tomorrow and Saturday, if it stays stable then it's getting bottled. Might be different for you though I've got the English Bitter kit.
