Brewed this one today. First brew since October last year. Just finished putting into fermenter. Got 46lt at 1.054

American pale ale SN

Total Hops 243.0 g.


10.17 kg. Maris Otter
0.34 kg. Crystal
31 g. Nugget (14.2 %AA) boiled 60 min
31 g. Chinook (12.7 %AA) boiled 30 min
64 g. Cascade (6.5 %AA) boiled 10 min
116 g. Cascade (7.6 %AA) boiled 1 min
Yeast : SO-05

boil for 70 min
mash @ 67C
ferment @ 20C

wort volume for boil =54.1L
mash vol. = 27.5L
top up with 11.6L
batch#2 vol. =27.1L

so 27.5L for mash
then 38.7L for sparging
 
That sounds great - my last brew was a APA with cascade, tasted fantastic - might be my regular from now on! :party:
 
Ye Cascade is my favourite hop. I usually put them into everything.

I made my brew yesterday. It was my 25th 40 pint batch..... so my 1000th pint!!!!
And its looking great.

Got this weighed out and milled today, ready for an early start tomorrow.
I've brewed this several times before, and it always comes out great. It's at its best after about 3 months in the bottle.
