Are these bottles OK for home brew?

I can get loads of these bottles are they OK for home brew? I read some where they should be brown?

Will my caps fit them? I use the metal type caps that you put on with a capper View attachment uploadfromtaptalk1445971181789.jpg

They look like they'll be fine. Brown or dark green glass is preferable but as long as you store them out of the light then it doesn't really matter.

I live in the UK mate, chances of sun getting to them is none existent lol

Seriously, they will be fine for light ale and lager but only ok for dark ales if stored in a dark place.
