Been given a Boots Bitter kit that was out of date in 97

Been given a really old can of Boots own brand bitter, which makes 21 pints.....

Went out of date in 1997...

Is it worth a go?

Fresh yeast?

Either give it a go with fresh yeast or donate it as a museum piece !

I recently put on a brew that was a few years out of date. There obviously won't be any issues with the wort having gone off, but the homebrew twang will have increased with age. Given that's a free kit, I can't think of many reasons not to just give it a go, though.
