I see that London Amateur Brewers are running the Black Friday competition again this November:-

I went along last year and it was well worth a visit - loads of dark/black beers to try.

I don't understand the competition - you pay £5 to enter your beer, for the chance to win a £10 voucher?

I thinks its a £10 voucher for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each category with other, yet to be disclosed/arranged prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd best in show.

But I reckon most people enter for the kudos of brewing a prize winning beer, and the feedback from a qualified impartial judge.
