I use brown glass. I have a large collection of Rekorderlig cider bottles (so nice and thick to reduce and danger of bombs).
For no other reason I just think that glass bottles are the proper way to store and open. I use a stand capper so capping isn't a chore and I clean them with very very hot water which I'd worry about with PET.
I use nappy boxes to store my when full or cleaned ready.
