Ok, for those that may have read my other thread you will know I am having a few issues with a kit I have brewed. What I would like to know is even tho it has been kegged for around a month, would it still be ok to pour out a couple of bottles. If so should I just pour and chill or should I put sugar in the bottle to?

If so how much?

Thanks guys.

Bobo - I think that you'll be OK to transfer some from keg to bottles and add some sugar, it seems that you still have yeast in suspension to 'process' the sugars that you'll add. If you add it to PET (coke style) bottles you should find that they go quite firm as the c02 builds up in there.

As a quick guide to bottling :

Clean sterilise everything that you are going to use
Tranfer to 1/2" from the top of the bottle
add 1/2tsp normal sugar
screw the top on/fit crown cap (if using glass bottles)

As I say thats a very quick guide but it should get you going :D

No problem, forgot to add leave the bottles in the house if you can at about ~20 degrees for the yeast to work, then transfer them somewhere cold.

You should be able to drink them in a couple of weeks
