Evening all.. so we have
15L Lidl red grape juice
3 x 440ml lowicz cherry
2kg tate & lyle table sugar
5tsp pectolase
30g youngs French oak chips
Bung in 2L juice
Bung in sugar
A kettle full of boiling water
Mix up sugar to dissolve
Bung in rest of juice
Bung5 in oak chips
Bung in pectolase dissolved in cup of warm water
Top up to 25L with cold tap water
Stir well
Temp 24 degrees
SG 1.090
Est abv 13.11% (when fermented out to 1.000)
Sprinkle on 5tsp youngs super wine yeast compound
Chuck in cupboard... sorted ðŸËâ¬
