Question for people. I'm currently very happy brewing small batches. Currently using a 5L bucket from a starter set, but have had issues with a bit of overflow due to warm energetic yeast. Considering getting a 10L bucket instead. So could easily do 5L and slightly larger batch sizes.

Is that over doing the headroom which will causes or not? What would be the max sensible volume of wort for a 10L bucket if I want to do slightly more.

Cheers

Chris

The simple answer IMO is
for 5L use a 10L Bucket
for 10L use a 15L Bucket
for 20L use a 25L Bucket
Im sure some wise sage will pop along and dispute this
and come up with some .....

Sounds sensible to me, given the mess under the 4.5l in my 5l bucket :)
