Hi Andy, I've made the canadian blonde about 5 times now &, every time I do my brothers descend on me & nearly clear me out. They say it is similar to a Stella. :thumb:

Can you tell me what the ABV was on the canadian blonde.
Mine seems to be working out at 6% after just 4 days of brewing.

I've just bought one and it was delivered today, that will be my next project.
for those that have made it before do u recommend adding additional sugar or just a regular 1kg?

I used brewing sugar instead of enhancer 2 and after four days its 6%.
There was no bubbling during fermentation which i thought was odd but the hydrometer does not lie.

I have done the 'Blonde' a few times with good results. Don't bother using expensive brewing sugars with kit lagers, it really isn't worth it. Stick to normal granulated and if you want it stronger, just short brew it to around 32 pints.

The again, you could go for the brain blowing 'Toucans' :whistle:
