The last few brews I had found that the coopers tap was dirty inside when washing it. Couldn't seem to unscrew it, so just washed it best I could.
Finally got it apart and they didn't use a stainless steel spring, so its rusted to Fook. That would explain the dirty water from washing. Luckily I think all my brews got away with it and weren't tainted.
Check your tap and I bet your'll find its knackered. Bit of a design fail, along with the **** bottling wand. Otherwise the FV is brill.
