do for me!

As you may recall the last brewday testing the new hop filter didn’t go well.
couldn’t scrape the bottom as is just tripped.
this time ok a faff of on!
i filtered slowly to not a cube after sparge n check vol n pre boil SG.
up on volume as i know the losses i needed for transfer back into a clean GF.
still got 27l that i wanted.
up a point on pre boil SG to 1,048.
touch wood! touch my heed!
ramp up for the boil goes without a hitch!

so with two filters what could go wrong in a 30 min boil.
Saaz at start of boil- whatsitchops tablet a saaz again at 15mins.
10 mins yeast nutrients.
flame out whirlpool and cool to cube temp.

Brewday will be on shortly, just editing.
as far as the still spirits boiler FV experiment (spoiler alert)
some good temp readings, and think it’s holding temp mint! from pitching yeast it hasn’t even needed to heat up! obv that’ll change lol.

i’ll sort out pics lata, as prep the Ss Brewbucket mini.
but i’ll leave ya for now with a quick vid i made in the minis & 27l FV.
fittings are practically the same for spare parts etc.

one thing i notice with the Novalager yeast! it’s quick, a bit to go but the sample was amazing and not a hint off off tastes!
the porter has better malt chacheridtics. and heightened by the yeast almost fruity
