Drum tap with weird out pipe

Hi guy

I've just got a new FV bucket, which came with this drum tap

But if you look at the out flow there are tabs.

Which I thought where some type of grip for pipes.


But after testing with some water just went over sides.

Have you guys ever came across this and is there way round it.

Use tubing to fit over the outside of the tap.

As Dennis said. It will need to be big tubing. Personally I don't like them taps so would probably replace them with a lever style tap.

That's what I did. It also means I can connect direct to the polypin tap.

Tried fitting wide tube but no joy. Changing to lever style. Thanks guys

That is a perfectly normal drum tap.
The ribs inside the delivery pipe are only for strengthening.
