Just wondering if any one has brewed two different extract kits together.I fancy mixing a Brewferm triple and barley wine just for curiosity ,or is this a bad move?

Thanks Banbeer, that's what I was wondering,if ingredients would clash.
Will give some more thought as won't try till end of March.

what @Banbeer said. If the kits are both say 9 litres though' and you are making 18 then the hops will be ok. but if using the second kit to replace the additional sugar and keep the brew volume of either of them then there's more hoppyness than planned.

some triples are closer to barley wines than others look forward to seeing what you get.

Both 9 litres DOJ ,I like a strong ale so curious to see how would turn out.

Found another thread but with ale and lager, turned out bitter and he had to add lemonade to drink it.He did say that he maybe should have only used half the lager kit and add 500g sugar.

Cheers Banbeer, decided to go for it and also add some sugar, but won't prime.
Should have shed sorted out by then so the newish kitchen won't get a new wall covering if goes ***s up.
