First attempt

Just tasted my first attempt, very satisfied if I do say so myself! Just the right amount of carbonation for me although there is very little head when poured, not that it worries me, but why is that? Very clear and very little sediment in the bottle.

The beer needs carbonation and protein to form and retain a head. Any form of oil in the glass or ingredients can destroy the head. Is this a kit?

Yes it’s a kit. I sterilized everything as per instructions. I don’t mind not having a head, it tastes great. Be interesting to see what the bottles are like that is used sugar rather than carbonation drops are like.

Washing up liquid don't help... rinse the glass really well with hot water after washing...
