Hi all,
I might be able to acquire an under counter freezer to use as a fermentation fridge. If I hooked one of these up in the same way as you would an under counter fridge will it still work? I plan to use one of the cedaronics style thermostats and a tube heater to regulate the temperature.

Theoretically it would work, however the problem comes with the design of many older freezers where the cooling pipes are in the shelves between the drawers. If this is the case you cannot take the shelves out and hence a fermenter won't fit.

Ahh, I didn't actually look to see whether the shelves were solid or not. I think it's fairly new, so hopefully once the shelves are removed I can fit an FV in there.
