Received my Fermtech auto-syphon, which works much better than the one from Enolandia. The seal is made of fairly soft rubber, but still lets in a little bit of wine, but not enough to worry about. It has an open top design which makes it easier to clean but also stops the seal from contacting the tube at 90 degrees, which may explain the small leakage.
