My Kit wine has turned out very dry and lacks body. I’ve been advised to use glycerine to overcome this problem. On a 6 bottle kit I am using 4 x 5ml teaspoons and will add mor if needed.
 
Members used to use it when making supermarket juice wine but gave up after a while as it didn't make much difference (see post in thread below) better to stop it a little earlier so its not too dry.

When i first stated i hated dry wine so i put 1 teaspoon of sugar in the bottle just before drinking and shook the hell out of it, it did the job well.

I now prefer dry (ish) wine.


WOW OP - Glycerine is added to improve mouth feel.
ME - many member no longer use this as we found it doesn't actually make that much difference
