9th AG of 2011. Green Lady, the spirit of Killimore. http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/recipeview.php?recipe_id=697
This is a brown ale I make every so often which I really like; a sweetish malty feel balanced with the fresh hop note of Styrian Golding and the bittering of Fuggle.
OK, it is inspired by Hob Goblin but it is not meant to be a clone.
Using my yeast from the freezer last night. Made a starter 2litre starter with 100g dry malt.

Here goes
Grain and starter
Brewery. HolmBrew from the Peedie Tam Brewery (Little Tom)
Control box
HLT temp close enough :thumb:
Lovely and clear, I'm happy
First hops and coming to boil
Boil almost finished, second hops in and cooler in to sterilise.
Copper finings worked better today
Plenty of air.
Plenty of gunk
Happy with colour and hit gravity spot on (luck)
This is supposed to be an Orkney Fairy :hmm:
