Just hand my first bottle of this Munton's kit. For me, it's way too hoppy and bitter. The instructions said to put the hop pellets in after 4 days in FV and it should be ready after 4-6 days (from starting). The SG hadn't settled so left it until day 16. Should I have taken the hops out after a day or should I have waited to put them in until SG was towards 1014.

Now have 38 pints of beer I can't stand, I'll try some with lemonade top (which I would normally find abhorrent). Any other options to take the edge off it?

Thanks and have a great Christmas

Whoops, can admin move this to the correct group - Thanks

You did the right thing leaving in FV for a fortnight, fermentation may be done in 6 days but the yeast needs time to clean up after itself.
Dry hop was probably too early though,
I usually leave it till around day 11 for 3 days before cold crashing for another couple of days.
