Hello from Aberdeen!!

Hello

I'm Simon, 34, from Aberdeen. I've been brewing a shortwhile but tried brewing extract long long ago now getting to grips with all grain brewing and other things.

Love a unique beer, have alot of love for lambics and krieks. Ive done a few beer courses in London and am aiming toward my Beer Sommelier award which I plan to sit next year.

Looking to make contact with local brewers and share tips and reccomendations while also setting up a website aimed at brewing and beers aimed at a younger audience...(trying to save them from the world of blandness out there) Maybe even get a regular thing going with other Aberdeen brewers to sample a few unique brews every now and then!

Cheers Guys!! I have to say I dont support the dons (i'll refrain from saying who I do support ) I could see thistle getting the win tbh!

In beer related news I just brewed an AG porter, its now bottle conditioning so hopefully ready in about 2 weeks time.

Any locals aware of 6degreesNorths Zwanze day? Cantillon beers and nibbles at a private event tomorrow 12-4 should be great, I'm looking forward to some fresh belgian beers.

Are you Guys aware that Brew dog are doing a presentation in the Cowdray Hall on the evening of the 24th? As I understand it the founders will be there. I was hoping to chat em up for some yeast :thumb: :nah:
