I have a local micro (2.5 BBL) on the premises of a completely freehouse, "The Corner Pin".
Sarah, the owner, along with two assistants, Sal and Sue, has called the brewery "The Naked Brewer".
This is because the brewery can be viewed through glass panels from the games room.
One of her brews, a very pale beer, she has called "Kiss m Willy", has pronounced taste of grapefruit, but she is being secretive and won't divulge which hop she's used.
She claims to be the only brewer in the UK to use this hop and it isn't Chinook.
Any other ideas?

I took the following list into the Corner Pin today, instead of saying "you'll never get it", Sarah said "I'm not telling you".
I take that to mean it was on the list!
The other clue is that it is very expensive.

Amarillo
Cascade
Centennial
Chinook
Galena (super)
Riwaka
Saphir
Simcoe
Summit
Warrior

Both Chinook and Riwaka have been denied.
Over to you, the Forum Guru's

Surely thre are brewery's using all of those varieties??

Grapefruit from one of those, if it's not Chinook it must be Simcoe.

Maybe Citra say yes?.

Cant be Citra Oakham claim to be the FIRST in the UK to have used it and they still do use it. If Evenvines Lady friend is claiming to be the ONLY UK brewery to be useing it then it cant be Citra.
