Inkbird ITC1000 faulty / buttons not working

I've search the titles but I cannot find any hits....

Bought an ITC-1000 a couple of years ago and hadn't had the need to fit it. Eventually fitted it 2021 to keep the serving kegerator at 10c-ish. I only have the fridge powered, not a heater.

It's been working fine since then until now.

No matter what I do - I cannot reset any of the settings. It still (or did) turn the cooling on at 10c, but the buttons do nothing.

I've tried switching off / on and also leaving it off. There doesn't appear to be a factory reset in the manual.

Any ideas or words of wisdom to impart?

Are all the connection s solid, just a shot in the dark

I am pretty thorough with that stuff, but I will climb up and take apart the enclosure to check.

Just recall having some temperamental issues due to a loose wire previously, don't use it these days
