Hmmmm doing a 50/50 wheat/pilsner and attempted to discover how difficult step decoction was with my set up...aimed for 20 mins at 50c, 60 mins at 62c and 60 mins at 70c. Well I overshot the second step and did an hour at 66c, its bang on 70c now but not sure I can be bothered to leave another 60 mins. Going for about 15 ibus with hallertau mittlefruh. Using Munich yeast.
