This will be the third and final review of a Morgans Australian kit. This one is for the Frontier IPA, which promises
"Delivering the beloved hoppy flavour of a traditional IPA but with lower alcohol content so you can create a world class session IPA to enjoy again and again.
Golden caramel colour /Floral hop aroma / Signature intense bitter IPA finish"
These kits are available from Brew2bottle and The Homebrew Shop,
Brewed to 21 litres with kit can and a 1.5kg base malt mash. Mash liquor boiled for 30 minutes and 20g Cascade US added for 3 minutes. My intention is to add a 30g Cascade US dry hop when the fermentation dies down. This is exactly the same as I have done for the Pacific Pale Ale, which is now carbing, and will enable a side by side comparison.
OG 1.042 and pitched with second generation CML Midland yeasty trub from a previous brew. Now in the water bath at 19*C.
Update in due course
