Afternoon all,
Set off a very coconutty neipa yesterday, fermentation seemed to be going well. Thought I'd have a quick look this morning and started to see and smell the signs that all was not well.

I'm thinking the stupid amounts 1.5 kg of desicated coconut may have bunged up the spunding valve and the safety valve causing a bit of a bang.

Shame I didn't win the fermentasaurus competition as I may be looking for a replacement. I can't see gaffer tape sorting this out. 😁😁

Morale of the story is maybe less is better, let's see if I take heed this time.

Holy moly! At least it's in a contained environment.

Surely the PRV should have triggered before explosion though.?

Is it a fermzilla?

Yup, well it was 😁.

I'm guessing it all got gunked up and couldn't release the pressure.

Doesn't feel like that contained mopping up 16 l of sticky beer, shame I'm sure it would have been great as well.
