I bought a crusher and precrushed a second batch of grapes before pressing the grapes. I've got to be honest. The results weren't much different to just putting the grapes in the crusher whole. This is going to be really expensive if I'm only getting about 3 litres per 8 kilos of grapes. How do grape juice companies produce such cheap grape juice? Are they getting (much) better prices for bulk purchases of grapes?
