oak chips

Having added the oak chips that came with my 2 beaverdale kits that I've just started and realised it's basicallly sawdust, I wondering what will happen to them and will they hinder racking into my secondary? I take it (I hope!) they'll sink and end up with the lees?

Both kits are going well after 24 hrs

I couldn't see them after siphoning in either of the kits I've done, didn't hinder me in any way.

They stay at the bottom when racking the only down side I found is they are harder to rinse out of the fermenter and if like me you empty it into the toilet (not the wine obviously before someone says it) its hard to clean that to.
